তোমার চিঠিটি অামার হাতে এসেছে→ Your letter is to hand.

লেখায় তার হাত আছে → He writes a good hand.

তাহারা তাহাকে হাত করবার চেষ্টা করছেে→ They are trying to win him over to their side.

আমার এখন হাত খালি→ I am short of money now.

এ মাসে তার খুব হাত টান→ He is hard up this month.
